Craig is an experienced advocate. For 28 years he was a litigation partner with (now) DLA Piper before joining Capital Chambers in 2013. He has been lead counsel in the High Court, Court of Appeal, Privy Council and various specialist Courts and Royal Commissions. He has undertaken a range of insurance, commercial, public law, regulatory, securities, trusts, resources and environmental litigation. Craig's clients have included listed and private corporates, local authorities and crown entities. Since 1998 he has also been a NZLS Litigation Skills faculty member, and is currently an Advanced Litigation Skills faculty member. Outside of the law he chairs the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation.
