Craig is an experienced advocate. He has a BA/LLB from Victoria University. For 28 years he was a Partner with (now) DLA Piper.
Since 1998 he has also been a NZLS Litigation Skills faculty member, and is currently an Advanced Litigation Skills faculty member.
He has undertaken a range of commercial, public law, regulatory, securities, trusts, resources and environmental litigation. He has been lead
counsel in the High Court, Court of Appeal, Privy Council and various specialist Courts and Royal Commissions. Craig's clients have included
listed and private corporates, local authorities and crown entities. Outside of the law he chairs the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation.
